Bookmarking is one tool we offer athletes to help make the initial connection with college coaches. With the help of our partner Chegg, bookmarking also helps make contact with the college’s admissions department, in order to help you effectively learn about the college and admissions process.
How it works: When you create an account on AllStarLAX, you will be automatically entered into an optional program. If you bookmark a school that is partnered with Chegg, certain information (your name, email, address, high school, graduation year, GPA, gender and birthdate) will be sent to the admissions department of that college, and the college will reach out to you at the appropriate time. After the college contacts you, they will be able to answer any questions you may have about that school and the application process.
When you are optedout of this program, your college bookmarking activities or personal information will NOT be shared with Chegg or any colleges.
Note: Chegg uses your information solely for the purpose of passing your information on to the college’s admissions department. If you do not have a Chegg account, your information will not be used for any other purpose. Learn more about Chegg.
